Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab

The Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab is a research and innovation lab with a strong emphasis on marine robotics and autonomous maritime systems. The lab designs, develops, and tests robotic vessels and sensing systems for real-world sea operations, combining AI, perception, control, and maritime informatics. Smart MOVE places particular focus on hands-on experimentation and sea trials in the Aegean, advancing autonomy, safety, and sustainability across maritime operations, ports, and coastal environments, in close collaboration with European research programmes and industry partners.
